Summer Rankings #4: Every NFL Team's Best Uniform Ever

This isn't a power ranking more or less. I thought about doing a power ranking for every teams current uniforms, but I'm not Gianni Versace. I'm a sports analyst not a fashion designer. There's many teams jerseys I love, and many I hate. It would be tough for me to rank in order who I like and where. So instead I'm going to give you my favorite jersey that any team has ever worn. Most of the throwback jersey's will be today's throwbacks. I'm sorry, but the classics look much more sleek and clean on the modern day Nike jerseys, over the 1980's style. Unfortunately I will repeat myself when saying THIS IS NOT AN ACTUAL RANKING. I do not need salty fans on my ass, because your team was at the bottom of the list. It's not in order people. Enjoy.

Miami Dolphins: Nike 80's Throwback

We're starting things off right. These beauties are super clean and just pop. The orange stripes on the shoulder with the orang outline on the numbers are so clean. Stripes on the shoulder, in my opinion, is like the pinstripes in the MLB. Not everyone has them, but the ones that do, usually look better. The three stripes up the middle of the helmet tie the whole uniform together. The fact that the Dolphins haven't taken a blast from the past and made these permanent, is a crime against humanity.

New England Patriots: Home Uniform

I know that a lot of people cam here expecting the 80's red throwbacks. I also know that a lot of you completely disagree with me by not picking the reds. These are navy blues with the striped high shoulders are better at the end of the day. More modern, more clean, with a taste of the throwback in them. The best era of the patriots football is dead, but when it comes to these new uniforms? Things are just getting started for Foxborough fashion.

Buffalo Bills: Nike AFL throwbacks

In my eyes, the Bills have always had one of the most classic, and appealing jerseys in the league. I'm a sucker for the color blue, no matter the shade. The red and blue color way thrives in Buffalo. These vintage all whites are the best all whites ever made though. The multi color stripes and the blue numbers, make you go blind they're so beautiful. The AFL was a breath of fresh air for the game of football. The NFL wouldn't be the same without the AFL. These throwbacks are a breath of fresh air for everyone. The old Buffalo logo should become permanent, and these jerseys should become the every time away's.

New York Jets: 2010's Away

I've never been the biggest fans of the Jets uniforms over the years. Especially their new ones, which are just awful. These whites could hang though if dressed right, like Jamal Adams did here. I like the boldness of the numbers on the white. I love the high shoulder stripe, along with the green covering the rest of the shoulder. Their all white helmets blend so well with the white uniforms. The jets never should've made the switch to their new ones, and stuck with these.

Baltimore Ravens: All Black Alternate

These all black alternates are beautiful and should be their every day home jerseys. The best part about these jerseys is that you can rock the black, purple, or white pants with the jersey. In my eyes, the black on black is the best. The Ravens name comes from Edgar Allen Poe who was Baltimorean. The Raven was one of his poems and it is very dark. So the uniforms fit with the name. The all black with the dark purple lining is immaculate.

Cincinnati Bengals: White Alternates

The Cincinnati Bengals are another one of those teams who have perfectly incorporated their mascot into their uniforms. The Bengal stripes have always been a beautiful touch to their popping orange jerseys. It's a perfect mix of pattern and jersey. Too much stripe, and you would've had the team looking like a Zoo's beer league softball jersey's. A perfect touch from the helmet to the legs. Now let's focus on the uniform at hand though. These all whites are easily the cleanest of the bunch. The orange helmets grab your eye, the rest of the uniform makes you fall in love.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Home jerseys

The Steelers colorway is one that pays dues to it's location. All of their major sports teams rock the black and gold. The Steelers are one of those legendary teams that won't change their uniforms in our lifetime. Coming from a team who does the same, I love it. These same uniforms have won many super bowls rocking these beautiful jerseys. They're maybe not the most stylish but the jersey is just too classic not to love.

Cleveland Browns: Nike 1946 Throwbacks

The Browns jerseys have never been appreciated enough in my eyes. Their latest jerseys weren't my favorites but I absolutely loved their brown jerseys with the 3 white stripes. These ones are untouchable though. A perfect throwback uniform with your modern mix. The box 3D numbers with the beautiful brown and orange stripes on the sleeves are so clean. I wouldn't change a thing about these uniforms. Another uniform that should be switched to an every day jersey.

Houston Texans: 2017 Color Rush

I've never been a big fan of what the Texans are wearing on their chests. Same with just about any of todays newer teams. It doesn't have that classic to it. These color rush uniforms are pretty nice though. The all navy with the dark red is a really clean look. The white outline on the numbers gives it more pop to stand off the navy as well. Outside of the colorway it's just a basic uniform.

Indianapolis Colts: Home Uniforms

The Colts are another one of those legendary teams with classic uniforms. Nothing crazy or unique. The horseshoe on the helmet is an iconic look and the shoulder stripes give it some flavor. These aren't some of my favorite jerseys but the iconic look makes it cool. I wouldn't take any other form of their limited uniforms over this one.

Jacksonville Jaguars: 2006 Home Uniforms

The Jaguars 2006 jerseys aren't really one of my league favorites but they're better than anything else they've ever worn. Their newest uniforms are sleek and they have a great colorway, it just looks like they are high school jerseys. It looks like the GM spent 30 minutes on Nike Team and said "these are the ones". These 2006 Jaguars uniforms are fun at least. The numbers are large and pop off the jersey at you. The full jaguar on the shoulder sleeves makes it fun. I love their teal jerseys and they have the perfect mix of black and gold included.

Tennessee Titans: Oilers Jerseys 1980's

Unfortunately for the Tennessee Titans, they aren't even the focal point of their own uniforms. They used to be the Houston Oilers until ownership moved them to Tennessee in 1996. They stuck with the colorway, but not the uniforms. These were beautiful uniforms. The baby blue popped. The red outline on the white numbers looks phenomenal. I loved the lined pants and the helmets. They could've stuck with these for the base and at most just modernize the jersey styles. They should've stuck with these no question.

Los Angeles Chargers: 2018 Powder Blue's

The powder blue Chargers uniforms have been a staple of their franchise for generations. They've always been easily some of the best uniforms in the league. I would argue that these were the best uniforms in the NFL. The newer form of these are really good, but I don't believe anything tops these uniforms. Any way they rock the powder blues, it works. These are the Chargers peak uniforms.

Kansas City Chiefs: Home Uniform

I love the Chiefs colorway, the classic design, the AFL patch, and the beautiful helmet. Everything about Kansas City's uniforms are great. The multicolor stripes on the sleeves are super clean. Their isn't a complain about these from me at all.

Denver Broncos: 1980's Home Uniform

The Broncos 80's uniforms were legendary. They should've never switched to the navy and orange mix ever. These bad boys could be styled up much better in todays game, but I stuck with these because of the colorway. The crazy thing is, John Elway played so much of his career in these uniforms, but everyone remember him in the new threads.

Las Vegas Raiders: Away Uniform

The Raiders don't really shake it any other way other than the absolute plain classics. People think it's boring, which you might be right. I think it's something the league needs. You need that team that has to take on the darkness of the league. I like their whites better than the blacks. If you think of the Raiders, you think of smack mouth football. Nothing flashy, just ass beatings. Just like their jerseys.

New York Giants: Nike 80's Throwbacks

The Giants were one of the dominant teams in the 1980's. The wrath of Lawrence Taylor and Harry Caron ruled over your favorite teams offense. Along with that, they were rocking these beautiful jerseys. The modern day uniforms are meh, but these throwbacks are as classics. Much more color involved and the striped back them absolutely dominate over the modern day stripes. Also the Giants helmets were much cooler back then. The "NY" on the helmet is nice, but not like it was back then.

Philadelphia Eagles: 1990's Home

The Philadelphia Eagles of the 90's had amazing uniforms. I know that they are bringing these ones back soon. It's unfortunately not going to be permanent at all. The green from the 90's is much more eye appealing than this modern day dark green they rock. They could've stuck with these beauties, and just modernized it a little more. I feel like once the early 2000's came around teams did absolutely way too much to their uniforms. I don't mind the Eagles modern day uniforms by any means, but nothing tops these.

Dallas Cowboys: Home Uniform

Their isn't much to say about the beaut's down in big D. These are legendary threads from America's team. You've seen a little bit of change through out the years to some of their uniforms but the home white's have stood strong with tradition. These will forever be one of the best jerseys in the NFL.

Washington Commanders: Redskins 1980's Home

The Washington Redskins had some great, classic uniforms that were worn by many legends in the hay days. When they became the "Football Team" they were literally high school uniforms. The Commanders jerseys don't even come close to their fit of tradition. I understand the name change, but you don't change the tradition that comes with such a legendary franchise.

Chicago Bears: Nike 1940's Throwback

Finally we role up upon my team. These throwbacks were so clean I was begging for permanent switch. That's not to say I don't love their home uniforms but these throwbacks were stunning. The orange striped socks looked beautiful ass well. Now when it comes to the helmet, maybe slap a more basic orange C on it and they're perfect.

Green Bay Packers: Home Uniform

As much as I absolutely hate this franchise, I don't mind their uniforms on the field. When rocking these jerseys off the field, I don't think that green and yellow is necessarily stylish. This is another franchise who has stuck with tradition in their uniforms with very little modernization. Outside of their home and away jerseys, they don't have much. None of their throwbacks are stylish by any means.

Detroit Lions: All Honolulu Blue

I love the Detroit Lions all blues. While their on field play might not be up to par, the jerseys are always playing up to it. I don't think there's a uniform from Detroit that I dislike. Nothing that they put on the field tops the all blues though.

Minnesota Vikings: Home Uniform

After decades of switching up the Vikings uniforms little by little, they finally got it right. These are definitely the best of the uniform they've pieced together. I've always had a soft spot for the purple and gold. It was my high schools colorway. The two stripes on the sleeves that curl up towards the back like horns are awesome. The bold numbers sharpen around the edges as well. These jerseys fit the Vikings name as well.

Atlanta Falcons: 1990 Black Jerseys

These are so bad ass. The Falcons are another one of those teams that fell into the trap of modernization in the 2000's. They were still clean, but nothing like these beauties. The falcons logo on the sleeve is so nice. You mix in the red falcons helmet with these and they might be some of the best in the league.

New Orleans Saints: Nike Color Rush

After just spending a few days in New Orleans last week, I grew to appreciate the legacy that Brees left in NOLA. He and Sean Payton are the only reasons that the city is relevant in today's NFL. These jerseys are another major reason they're relevant, I've always been a big fan of the black and gold, but these are next level bad ass. Also nothing beats Alvin Kamara tearing up the Vikings on my birthday in these beauties.

Carolina Panthers: Nike Black Alternates

I never have been a fan of the Panthers jerseys if I'm being honest. I believe they're really bland. I love the silver and babyish blue colorway, but they just aren't that clean. These are definitely my favorites out of the options due to the fact that all black jersey's are cool on any team. Other than that, I could pass on everything in Carolina.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Creamsicle

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Creamsicle uniforms are maybe the most hated or loved jersey in the NFL. There's really no in between. I obviously fall into the love side of things and believe they should be brought back. The old logo is much better than the new one. Same with the colorway. The Bucs colorway now is like a red and dark grey? The jerseys are cool, but not even close to these.

Arizona Cardinals: Early 2000's Away Jersey

These old legends are simple and maybe a little bland, but much better than what Arizona is rocking today. The state flag on the sleeve is something you do not see in the game today. The numbers are simple but bold. These are such cool uniforms.

San Francisco 49ers: Nike 1994 Throwbacks

These beauts should be put in the Hall Of Fame. The red, with the 3D black and white numbers so clean. You guys know by now I'm an absolute sucker for stripes as well. Along with that beautiful 75 patch? Some of the best uniforms ever worn on a football field.

Seattle Seahawks: 80's/90's Blue Home

The Seattle Seahawks legacy isn't known inside these uniforms. You think of legend Steve Largent maybe, but you don't think of their legacy. Their legacy is known for what they wear today. The issue is, their legacy should've been built in these uniforms. I do not like the navy and lime green they've established in Seattle. These blue beauties with the mix of silver is unmatched. Teams have gone so bland in their days and more teams need to wake up. If you look back the Broncos, Rams, and Seahawks all had this bright blue in their colorway. At one point they all decided to switch to navy blue. The Rams finally came to their senses and went back to the blues. The Seahawks must do the same.

Los Angeles Rams: 1980's Home

These are absolute classics. They have been some of the best jerseys ever made in NFL History. You can't go wrong either way here in Los Angeles with the home or away uniforms. These blues with the yellow pants just pop off the screen at you. The best thing the Rams ever did was go back to their original colorway. That navy and gold uniform mix made me want to projectile vomit. It's really hard to incorporate your teams mascot into your jerseys. The Ram horns that wrap around the shoulder pads is the closest thing the NFL has come to the Runway in Milan. True fashion, mixed with the pure speed and force of Eric Dickerson? That's Hollywood.
