When you hear the name Kobe Bryant, what is the 1st thing that comes to mind? For me, it’s resilience and dedication. His name alone holds so much weight and power that his legacy will always be remembered. With two out standing careers, representing the number 8 and 24, Kobe Bryant altered the course of the NBA.
Kobe Bryant played 20 years in his NBA career, ten wearing number 8 and ten wearing number 24. Regardless of what number he was wearing, he was always putting up numbers. To name a few of his accolades, Bryant started this long list with winning the Slam Dunk Contest at All-Star weekend as a rookie in 1997. Followed by winning All-Star MVP honors and scoring titles in both of his numbers. Kobe Bryant’s dedication was truly shown every time he stepped onto the court. With a total of 1,346 games, 48,637 minutes played in his career, Bryant was guaranteed to do what he knew best. From his career high 81 point game, before leaving the number 8 behind, to his 61 point performance at Madison Square Garden before retiring. There are so many iconic Kobe Bryant games and moments, it is hard to choose.
